The Waiting Workforce

JPMorgan Chase has a corporate policy of trying to help people with criminal records to find employment. As part of that initiative we created this installation: Made from 1.8 million pieces of legal paperwork, it is composed of 38 statues, one for each state yet to pass Clean Slate legislation. It was sited in front of the National Constitution Center, and featured on national news. It then blew up on social media, just in time to affect the conversation for the 2024 US Presidential Election.
